Does what it is supposed to do. Short of picking the winning lottery wining numbers this product is good and was provided to me by my pool vendor so I ordered more strips from Amazon. Results are similar to the water samples being tested at Leslie pools so I do both, I get the water tested once a month or so and I test it twice a week using the strips.

2nd Customer Review : Deceptive Ad
You see 4 bottles in the ad..... are you thinking you are ordering an assortment ? No, you are making a very wrong assumption if you think that. I ordered the product and was annoyed, feeling that I had been misled by this ad ( ok, it does specify "8 oz. bottle" at the end of the description, but when you are shown an assortment of bottles, the typical consumer will think they are being offered the 4 bottles shown ) I am fairly certain that in the minds of most people that the company will not come across as delivering what they seem to be offering. The product is OK - nothing special - but in the future I think I'll buy elsewhere.

1st Customer Review : Good but maximum pH reading should go beyond an 8
I have tested Alkazone Ph Test Strips for Water, Micro Essential Lab 9800 pHydrion pH Range: 0.0 To 14.0, 100 pH (Strips/Vial, Plastic pH Test Strips), and Nature2's Spa Test Strips. While the Alkazone strips are an improvement over the Micro Essential Lab 9800 pHydrion (pHydrion) strips (which don't work at all), the colors are not as vivid as they appear on the comparison sample on the container. In addition, a solution I knew to be a pH of 9 tested as a 7 using the Alkazone strips. In fact, plain Fiji bottled water tested at a 7 and the pH reading on the Alkazone strips appeared unchanged even after adding alkalizing drops and/or baking soda both of which should have brought the pH above 9.

With the pHydrion strips, plain Fiji bottled water tested between a 3-4 pH while the Fiji bottle claims it is a 7.8 pH. Also, the color of the pHydrion strips does not change consistently throughout the strip. In fact, anything under a pH of 8 will only change the edges of the litmus...

I have used several different brands, but I NEVER have any water balance problems if I stick to these strips. I think they are a little pricey, but again, you get what you pay for:)

Great product and great price. Why I love amazon (great prices). Have three of this filters. Rotate clean one in hottub, then dirty one in bucket of clorine/water and 3rd one clean ready for hot tub. Rotate every 1-2 weeks. Keeps hot tub clean :)
