Ordered as a replacement part. It was newer valve assembly, as advertised, and installed without any unexpected issues. Would order it again if needed.

2nd Customer Review : For another 15 years
After 15 years, it started to leak, it has a carck on top cover along the mounting screws, hope this one will do for another 15 years. The unit came in good condition; however, the 'glass' cup window fell off the unit and borke when I took the unit out of the box. The glass cup should of stayed on it it was install correctly, end up using the one from the old valve.

This replaced the old Hayward Backwash Valve Coupling which lasted over 20 years. It has been installed for about a month now. It seems to be quite a bit lighter weight than the original, but it's functioning, and that's what matters! Delivery was very fast, just took a few days.
