1st Customer Review : No Smell, Soft on Skin, but cloudy/merky water and slight foam!
After much anticipation (3 months worth of work to get my hot tub running properly without leaks) I can FINALLY review this product! Let me pre-curse all info in this review by saying that this is the first product I have ever personally bought to maintain a hot tub or spa so I am a beginner but an educated one none-the-less. The hot tub I refer to is a PREVIOUSLY USED, late 1990's, (1998ish - when the house was built) model hot tub with no user manual or info of any kind included. It came with the house that my wife and I purchased. Upon initial inspection it had no power at all. That was remedied easily with a new GFCI receptacle. After powering up, I deducted that it needed a new control unit (water was running, moving, jets working, but not getting hot at all, so instead of trying to retrofit new parts with old/existing ones we opted to purchase an entire new spa-pack (Motor, pump, heater, control unit, control panel, light, blower, a couple of attached plumbing pieces.) Switched to Leisure Time Free because of skin reaction but my hot tub water is not crystal clear. Switching back to Leisure Time Renew. Gave an extra star to In the Swim. Will continue to order spa supplies form this on-line retailer.
