I opened my pool this season and got all my numbers where they are supposed to be (chlorine, PH, total alkalinity and salt). I still had a slight haze to the pool that just wouldn't go away. The man at the pool store told me my phosphate level was a little high and recommended trying the Phosfree. We have a lot of tree debris that gets in our pool which contributes to a higher phosphate count.
I never just buy a new product when they recommend it. They are always trying to sell you something and it is usually more expensive when you buy it from them. I went home and did some online research. There was a lot of great recommendations for both the Phosfree and the Pool Perfect + Phosfree. I decided to try the latter because I also wanted something that would break down all the oils and lotions worn by swimmers in the pool.

2nd Customer Review : wonderful product
My husband and I began using this product a few years ago, we wouldn't be without it now. We add 2 capfulls to the skimmer once a week, keep the chlorine container full and that is the extent of chemicals we add. Our water is crystal clear all summer long. We never fool around with the test strips or PH up/down products.

We are new pool owners and have struggled with maintaining the pool balance in TX heat. Every week we used to go to the local pool store to test the pool water and they will invariably try to sell something or the other to get the pool back into balance.
