1st Customer Review : Accept no substitute for genuine Pleatco!
The Pleatco PAP200-4 is an excellent filter. The media is good, and I especially like the rubbery, compliant end caps (bottom and top are different internal diameters and identified so you don't install it upside down). It fits very well in my Pentair cartridge filter unit. The top end cap is snug against the core tube so there's no water flow between the cap and the core tube. I get alot of leaves and dirt in my pool from oak trees nearby so I have to wash my filter at least once a week, but this Pleatco lasted a year. I'm satisfied.
This filter deserves five stars, but I give this listing one star because of the seller. I ordered a Pleatco PAP2000-4 on this listing here on Amazon, sold by Filters 4 Less. They knowingly shipped me a substitute made by "Baleen Filters" marked AK-8005, though the packing lists says "Pleatco PAP200-4". I can't even find this manufacturer on line. I see this seller also sells an "Aquakleen" AK-8005. No country of origin is stated on the...

2nd Customer Review : Don't Pass Up This Opportunity
If you own a pool, you know that pool filters can be very expensive. In the past, I purchased replacement filters from two well-known, national pool product distributors because I thought I was getting a bargain. Before purchasing my latest replacement filters, I searched numerous websites in an effort to find the best price. When I came across this seller, I was somewhat skeptical because of the exceptional price discount. However, despite my doubts, I ordered two anyway. They were delivered very promptly. They proved to be the exact (EXACT!) filters I had spent $50 apiece more on two years ago. I saved $100 and got the filters I wanted. I don't know how the seller does it, but you can save big bucks purchasing your filters here. I could not be more satisfied. I highly recommend.

After researching and compairing this filter on line, checking ebay etc and making a few calls, I decided to order this filter. It arrived quickly. It is a Quality Filter at an Excellent Price with Fast Shipping and Great email reply from the seller. Oh yea, the amazon picture is of a generic fiter, but the actual product is correct with the orange ends etc...
