1st Customer Review : Differences between filter media square feet
This is the Pleatco PRB25 filter. Please be aware that the 25 in the model number stands for 25 square feet of filter material. Pleatco also makes similar filters with the same length and diameter, but they have 50 square feet of filter material (and have "50" in the model number).
I wasn't sure whether to purchase the 25 or the 50 but opted for the 25 because I didn't feel the need for the 25 additional square feet of filter material (and the filter media fabric is the same either way, about 3oz/yard). I've used 50 sq ft models in the past and found that the filter was more difficult to clean because there was so much filter fabric that the pleats were very tight together. What most often gets cleaned by my hot tub filter are pieces of grass, hair, dirt, and bird seed shells. Either the 25 or the 50 would catch this material. Perhaps it helps my tub's pump that there is less back pressure from the 25 filter, but it may not make much difference either way...

2nd Customer Review : Fits my older spa
I ordered this product after careful measurement of O/D, I/D, and height of my old filter. Our spa is 8 years old. Original filter no longer available so many possible replacement filters exists. This one has now been in place for several months and is doing a great filtration job. No complaints.
3rd Customer Review : Works great, keep in mind that the pictured filter is NOT what you're receiving!!
I was worried when I ordered this because although I needed the Pleatco PBR25-IN (which is what this is described as being) the filter in the picture is a different one. I was pleased to find that it is in fact the correct filter, measuring 13.3" x 5" and not the smaller one pictured. Just figured I would post this in case anyone else viewing the product was confused as well. This is in fact a Pleatco PBR25-IN, so if that's what you need then ignore the picture and click the order button!
