The savings in time and propane gas are amazing. I bought this product for my weekend home so I have to start my pool from a very low temperature, it took me more than 12 hours to raise the temperature to my requirements now It takes less than Four hours. I Am very happy with this product not only because of the savings but because of its efficiency .

Our previous pool heater survived about 10 years. Pine needles and the likes had helped in the corrosion of the metal casing etc..
So, pool guy suggested this model. Went on line and found it through Amazon.
Received it in record time, i.e. less than a week from time of purchase.
Pool people, plumber and electrician all lined up. Installation it seems was a breeze. I guess someone who is handy, could do it on their own.
It is so small, compact. Looks like R2D2, but in black color!
All its vital elements are incased in that hard "plastic"(?) outer shell. It tells me the water actual temp. I then input the max temp i want it to go up to, push the little on button, and off it starts, noiselessly! I LOVE IT!!!
It also comes for gas etc..
3rd Customer Review : HEADS UP FOLKS....PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED!!!
Hopefully will get this installed this weekend just to make sure everything is working properly.
There are literally 100 WARNING messages on the user manual which one can easily view at Pentair.com.
The warranty is void if something should happen and it wasn't installed by a licensed installer. $500+ cost!
ALSO, best to get a diverter or separate filter/pump system for this so that the chemicals will be at the
correct levels before running the water through the heater. If it becomes damaged because of chemical imbalance, the warranty is void.
Some mix up with contacting the Pool Supply seller...received a couple of different numbers then finally was
able to do so via email and then given a non-toll-free number.
Just wanted to give the heads-up in order to be prepared...I wish I had been.
I really hope this is worth it. will update.
