Works well in conjunction with Aqua Chek Aqua Chek Trutest Digital Reader . I always have trouble reading the colors. This makes testing a lot easier.

I am color blind and have a hard time with the cheaper color coded strips. This unit has allowed me to keep my pool clean and clear for two years now.
3rd Customer Review : My swimspa could not be happier!
I have been using these strips with the appropriate handheld meter for a couple of years now. The only time I have found the meter to "err" was when (I suspect) the batteries were low. No problem to change batteries, I do it once a year or so. I use a Q-tip to help me. When I dip the strip and lay it in the meter, I gently "poke it down" with the Q-tip to make sure it has full contact. Once I take the strip back out, I gently (really gently) wipe the meter to, so that it stays really clean. I would not hesitate to buy a new meter if/when mine "wears out," it has been an excellent value and helped me keep my swimspa water pristine.
